I thought you guys might want to know about this, I fitted a VT Brake upgrade kit to my car. Ive just done a rego check and also had to blue slip it for a engine number change (Turbo conversion) The blue slip station has looked at all aspects of the car incl the front brakes and spoken to the RTA and given me hell. The RTA has said that the car needs an enginers report before i can re register it. I basically have two choices at the momment: 1: Revert to factory fitted VLT Brakes and calipers and have it re inspected. 2: Have an enginers report for the VT Brakes issued then have it re inspected. Basically i am in trouble because I want to enginer it but its not quite finished yet from a modification point of view so it looks like im going to have to source vlt discs and calipers now. I just thought you guys would like to know about this before you fit those kits that they have to be engineer approved for road use. Carcrazy.
