hey everyone, i currently have a 28 spline 3.08 diff in my vl 5 litre, stock diff, now a mate of mine has a mini spool in his ford xf, i think his diff is a standard one only mod to the rear end is the mini spool he put in. anychance of it going straight into mine if i brought it off him and took it to a diff place to get chucked in?? and if so, is it a big job to chuck in to my current diff centre let me know cos i am knew to the mini spool scene, never owned one b4 thanks guys luke...

I think if its a 28 spline it will fit into most 28 spline applications(non LSD of course)

hmmmm not too sure if the XF would have a borg warner diff...... hence the centre may not fit..... check if it's a 4 pinion, 28 spline borg warner before you buy it.

Yes Ford do run Borg warner diffs from XD onwards, only the V8's had 28 spline but. If you want to install one please read my thread in the tech section!
