hey guys well this whining noise just started few weeks ago and funny thing is it only does it once the car is heated up when i drive it in the mornin when its cold its fine wont whine but once its heated up its start to whine any ideas what it could be? i got a yarra valley jatco outta VLmuzzas car i cant see it being that as it shouldnt be ***ed..is there anything else that could be doing it? tailshaft?bearings?diff? i can put the car in neutral when driving and it wont make any whining noise, could this mean the its the gearbox? i know that i got the wrong bearings in my diff i got big bearings for 28spline axles in with 25spline so there is a few cm play each side which is dangerous but i cbf changing them as ive been driving on them for about 5 months now .. any help would be great guys thanx. justin. Sounds like 1 of your wheel bearings is gone! Have you checked your diff oil?Does it whine more when you drive faster?

nah dude it doesnt get louder when i get faster and i cant hear it when i get up the car, i can really hear it when i back off the throttle and it whines down.. its really starting to annoy me wish i knew wat it was.. i havn't checked the diff oil which i should do tommorrow but i filled it up when i put the diff in about 6 months ago got it from the wreckers for $100 lol still going strong..hmm anything else that it could be?
