I have noticed lately when turning corners and round-a-bouts, my passenger side windscreen washer would often spurt out water even though im not pressing the button at all. I cant hear the washer engine noise like i generally would when i normally press the button... So what would be making water come out?

when i was changing my throttle cable mine leaked out water, cos the container with the water in it was sitting higher than the windscreen washers, so maybe if its overfilled and the water splashes around in a corner it might do it, try emptying it half way Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I agree with JuZi; If I recall the washer bottles are on the RHS of the engine bay in the Copmmodore- perhaps there might be an increase in pressure when you go around corners (especially if your setup has a high degree of body roll). I suppose you could consider it like a u shaped tube- tilt it left and the water would overflow to the left; tilt it right and it might overflow right. This is just a guess! Have you investigated an electrics/ wiring problem?

Mine did it for years. Finally got a couple of tiny inline non-return valves from one of the auto shops and cured it forever.

I've got the same problem, I guess you just have to get used to it. It doesnt do anything wrong. You just have to refill your washer bottle more often... It doesnt matter how much water is in the bottle, it will still come out...

my jets are blocked anyway... maybe the previous owner had this problem, and blocked the jets up to cure it really annoys me tho, coz my screens always dirty... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I might either get some non return valves or put the loop in the lines. Mine hasn't had water in there for ages, which the cops don't like and all, but hey, if you go around a corner and water comes out anyway, whats the point.

only the drivers side squirter works. i've tried connecting the hose from drivers side to passanger side and connecting passanger to drivers side, but all that happened was that drivers side stopped working and passenger side started working. anyway it's not the jets, and both hoses look okay. it might be something to do with the lenth of one of the hoses?? has anyone else had this problem??

The motor might be stuffed aswell, doubt the length of the hoses would have anything to do with it, maybe the width of them. Take the motor out and sandpaper the contacts back a touch.. Made mine go a bit harder..

Get a small pin and poke it into the small hole of the jets and move it around a bit and that should unblock them. it worked for mine. You also can aim the jets by doing this also. the Pipe to the pass side is longer, so the water sits in the tube., when you go around bends the motion drags the water out of the left hand side, a small loop might help
