You need the turbo ecu (for the trans) the one under the drivers side of dash. I bought one for $15 from this forum. The turbo box changes gears at slightly higher revs/speed. Apart from that just the box and converter i think... Anyone think of anything else?

i've got the VLT auto ecu ( 3ta) and should be getting the auto underdash ecu with the box. can i use my crossmember from the old box ( n/a ) ? and what about the tailshaft - is it different between n/a and turbo auto's? thanks kramer

Tailshaft is the same, crossmember is the same. I'd leave it in the shed until you get a turbo engine to go with it. It will change gears really funny and it will give you the sh!ts. The N/A auto will perform better than the turbo auto until you actually get a turbo.

thanks for that info jordy my rice racing mate. i'de assume it would perform better, being smaller etc. so all i'll need basically is the auto vlt (under dash ) computer. i know that the starter motors are the same kramer Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
