Gents, Getting a knocking-growling noise coming from my passenger side strut tower, noticeable when the car is at idle. When I place my hand over the tower I can feel a constant knocking against it. Engine is idling smooth. Does any one no what this could be? Cheers, Joel.

Yeah morgz is right I think, it's something touching the body of the car. Make sure the engine mounts are alright, see if the exhaust is touching somewhere. I assume it is not a turbo, but if it is then check the heat shield next to the wastegate actuator rod because there is not a lot of clearance between that and the chassis rail.

It turned out to be broken air-box mounts. All 3 were broken. Problem is now fixed. joel.
