Hey guys i was thinking about this for a while... Is anyone here intrested in organising a group go-carting day?? I went to one with my old man and the ls1 forum. Worked really well with around 20 people comming. If anyone is intrested we could have one at Kembla Grange Go-CArt track. Really good track and pretty quick go-carts. If enough people are intrested in this we could go go-carting for 30mins or so then go for a cruise into wollongong or go back to mine or something and have a BBQ. Just an idea for the future, not an immediate thing as the calais estate cruise is comming up soon so if we did it, it would be after that. They charge $60 for 30mins, could be cheaper wih a large group? Thanks

Yeh it would be a good day. If we got say 10 people or more it would be really good. When i went with the Ls1 blokes there were 20 of us so they split the group in half and we did qualifying for 15mins. Then they sorted us out between the fast and slow groups for another 15mins. If we get a large number of people then this would be the way to go. By the way Kembla Grange is basically in Dapto, very near unaderra. If some sydney people are keen we could problery organise a cruise from sydney somewhere. I know there are a few people here living in wollongong so hopefully there will be a bit of interest

lol 30 mins is nothing. U do end up very sore for the next day. Depends how hard u push it i guess. Last time i went i pushed it as hard as i could and ended up with bruses all over my back and legs just from going over ripple strips. If we get a number of people say 10 we can then divide the group into half. 5 on the track is quite a good number otherwise it just becomes too crowded and asks for trouble which will get us in ****. If we split the group that means 2 15min sessions. U would get a 15minute break in between the race as well for those concerned about being on them too long. Sure macquarie pass would be good to drive up. LS1 day we crusied up there and stopped at robberson pie shop and then cruised back. So if we get enough people we can do that. Get some mates to come along for numbers even if they arn't that intrested in cars their bound to love go-carting. duz360 if this goes ahead it will be after september sometime. After the calaisestate cruise. Problery not october as i have my HSC then. But early november before i go to schoolies would be good. If this sounds good to everyone get a few people intrested and i will book the track.

If anyone wanted to we could go to a different track. I know there are a couple further out of wollongong. I have only raced at kembla grange and a place in canberra but Kembla Grange is a good track, safe with tyre walls, traps, etc. Go-carts are pretty quick as well. I topped 80km/h along the back straight in one of them. It depends on weight so if you way more than 57kg u won't be going as quick. Anyway just seeing if there is any interest. Some of my mates would be intrested. I know at least 4 of em would defiently be. So if we get lets say a group of 20 it will make for a good day and lots of fun on the track. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

well if ur keen that makes me, you, ur mate, my mates, spawn and OOH30T. So that makes so far 9. If spawn and OOH30T bring some mates we will be set otherwise we still may get more intrest from people here.
