We are looking to hold a go kart day in the coming weeks/months.
The Venue is:vSilhouette Karts 110 Hume Hwy, Somerton 3062.
Cost: around $60 per head (this depends on the amount of numbers who attend)
What you get: three races, most likely a practice session, qaulifying session, competition session.
Silhouette Karts throw a free BBQ for club s etc, so all we need is a Chef to turn the snags over
maximum karts on the track is 12, so if we can triple that and get around 36 ppl to the event, that means for each session, there will need to be 3 groups, so in total we would have:
race 1 - practice
-group a (12 ppl)
-group b (12 ppl)
-group c (12 ppl)
race 2 - qaulifying
-group a (10 ppl)
-group b (10 ppl)
-group c (10 ppl)
race 3 - competition
-group a (12 ppl)
-group b (12 ppl)
-group c (12 ppl)
the 12 best racers will race off in a final), the next best 12 will race off in 2nd division final, and the worst 12 race off in a 3rd devision final
There will be a prize for the winner. This may also be a good chance to tip in some extra money for a bit of booze, and a contribution to the site.
Zanjara will be devising a cruise, but we are not sure if it would be better to have it before hand or after.
Also we will need confirmation and a 10 dollar deposit, but were not in a major hurry for people to throw a deposit up, as we still need to work out dates, numbers and a cost etc.
If you have any questions or ideas post them up. also a confirmation date would be good, so any ideas on a good date, most likely a sunday would be best.

and I am up for a cruise after the karts. coz I think we cruise before, then the karts might end up getting called off. hehehe
id say go the 29th, gives everyone time to get their cars fixed up and ready
Depending on what time we have to be at the carts we hold the cruise befor/after, which ever way as long as it a good day to get some good pics of our cars.
Also will there be enough room at the carts to hold 30+ cars ??
We can cruise before or after, the karts finish at around 10 pm suday night.
so we can turn up around 10, take around 3 4- hours including BBQ, then that gives us from around 2-3pm onwards for cruising.
ps plenty of car space to park for the vls.
Can you give me some idea of where this is, I dont have a clue.
It'd be great to meet up somewhere for lunch 1-2pm and go for a cruise, and then go to the karts later on say around 6pm or something.
I take it our cars would be safe while being parked in there.
Since a Walky and F20 is going, theives will take them first over mine!

somerton is right near epping. hume hwy. caznt miss the hume hwy, the one that goes to NSW
they provide a bbq so we could probably have lunch, dont know who would want to have a bbq for dinner.
