does any one know if this is possible, or has been done? are adaptor brackets required, etc.?

woops, my mistake. typing slower than brain thinking. yeah, vt rear brakes onto vlt live axle. you may say not worth it. but it is when you can get ventilated rear discs for a vt...

There are Vented rear disks to fit live axles the fit straight in . part # dba20 . These were on the group As and are 278x18mm .

yes it can be done.. only place i know that does it all is this place cebcobrakes (http://www.cebcobrakes.com.au) there kits include everything from front to back... you may say its pricey but in the end its not..
