Dave have you thought about selling the T350 and 4.11's and putting a 4L60E and some 3.55's in it? The current driveline combo is a bit of overkill for the new motor perhaps? On the other hand someone will buy a car perfect for serious engine work!! Good luck with the sale. This car is IMMACULATE!!

I sold the stoker motor along with the Twin Throttle bodies a few weeks ago. What was discovered was that the heads were cracked, and there were a few other things going wrong with it. It was causing me too many hassles, so I have just put in a 185i motor (stock) for much more reliability (but still with a bit of power). The gearbox however is exactly the same. I DID think about doing a conversion with that as well, however I'd lose all the good stuff mine has in it - and it wasn't the gearbox I was having problems with. Did change the stall converter though, cuz if I kept the old one, I'd just be driving around in 'stall' lol! Greg - let me know if your mate wants to see the car. Cheers y'all...

i wouldnt be too sure as this has had a engine transplant and etc. But heres the way to find out. what you have to do is divide the engines power output by the weight (has to be the base models weight - exec) that has to be under 125kws per tonne. THEN you have to divide the litres by the base model weight again. if thats under 3.5ltrs per tonne then your right. i just found out the VR Exec base weight is 1362kg 185kw/1.362tn = 135.82966kws per tonne 5ltrs/1.362tn = 3.6710719ltrs per tonne both over. not too sure man.

KILLABP... good mathematics. Too much for me to comprehend, so I'll just believe ya! However, F I L L I P O.. my mate was on his P's and I gave him a drive of the car (before I had the engine swap), and he got booked for driving a car with too much power. Even IF it was a stock Clubby at the time, he would have got booked. So the answer to your question is probably no. - Dave

LOL most P platers VLT's are over too hahaha, just dont get caught. Just act like you dont know what their talking about, and just keep saying it's all stock. I have heaps of mates still on their P's and are driving around with 5ltr V8, no probs. They aren't as fast or powerful as everyone makes them out to be when in stock form. Gatecrasher, your mate got done while driving your when it had like 270rwkw or something didn't it? LOL Thats a V8!

LOL I think what Gregs saying is that this car isn't just a 94' Berlina 5ltr. It's got the potential with it's driveline to cope with vast amounts of Hp. Your dreaming if you think he only spent $18k on it, without the stroker motor. For the money he's asking you get a superb interior, smick driveline, brillaint paint and it's only going for a couple more grand than a 96 SS. This car is easily worth what he's asking, and your comment wasn't really called for, and like Mr Gregory said Steve is trying to cut down on that sort of stuff so do the right thing by him and post stuff like that.
