PLAN CHANGED - READ ON FOR CHANGES Hey guys/girls... Its time for another holden meetup and with careful discussion with other members we have decided on a plan... The Plan Cruise from Mt Gravatt Mountain to BP Yatala for a fuel stop and to pickup staglers. From here we will head down to Shell Mudgee for a final fuel stop and to meet up with people from the gold coast. We will then head to Pottsville, which has a nice grassy area for photos/carpark/meetup/chat etc. Also has a cheap pub lunch as well... After this you can leave and do your own thing but most of us will be hitting the esplande for some happy laps... Times: Mt Gravatt Mountain at 10am for a 10.15am leave. Location: Shire RD Mt Gravatt BP Yatala at 11.00am for a 11.15am leave. Location: Chrisensen rd Yatala North Shell Mudgee at 12.00pm for a 12:10pm leave. Location: Lealands rd Mudgeeraba Pottsville at 1.00pm DUE TO THE MASSIVE INTEREST WE HAVE HAD IN THE CRUISE (WE CURRENTLY HAVE 110 PEOPLE) I HAVE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION. THE POTTSVILLE TAVERN HAVE NOW DECIDED TO CLOSE THE KITCHEN AND AREA TO THE PUBLIC SO WE SHALL HAVE THE CLUB TO OURSELVES. WE CAN NOW TAKE UP TO 150 PEOPLE. PLEASE HELP ME TO HELP THE POTTSVILLE TAVERN STAFF BY PICKING A DISH FROM THE MENUE AND LETTING ME KNOW ASAP SO I CAN GIVE THEM TIME TO PREPARE DISHES ETC ETC. More Details Lunch will be $10 per person (this is for at this stage for between 30-40 people and will be cheaper with more people) and the menu will include the following which you can have one of; Fish and chips (with garden salad) Roast Beef or Pork and baked vegetables with garden salad Spaghetti Bolognese Beef Lasagne with chips and salad Hawian Pizza (Ham and Pineapple) Chicken Schnitzel with gravy and vegetables You may also order from the main menu on the day if nothing in the above is to your liking. If you are a vegetarian, or have special diet needs please let me know and I will make arrangements for you. These meals are always large and the meals taste great. If you have ever eaten there you will know what I mean. Like I said price per head will go down with more people so the more that come the cheaper it will be. They will also try and do their best to reserve a section in the large carpark for us to park. Count me + 1 in aswell. Tell me, how are you planning on fitting 60+ cars on Mt Gravatt Mountain ? (I assume you mean the lookout area up the top ???) Any discussions with the cops, i'm sure someone near by will get an itchy finger to mr plod to advise of massive amounts of "hoon" type vehicles ammasing at a known "hoon spot" (once again, thinking mt gravatt area) - would be good to let the boys in blue know that its all under control and no shenanigans are gonna happen. other than that, all seems good - will catch you there Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
