Hey guys, Im after all the necessary turbo conversion parts in PERTH. Ive found parts for sale in the eastern states but dont really know if i can trust people selling me stuff from over there. Ive gone into a Performance shop and was told it would cost about $4000 to $5000 for the conversion?? Whereas on someones site (http://home.iprimus.com.au/chris_white82/) it says it can cost a LOT less. So yeah, if anyone has parts I need PM me or email: [email removed] Any info would be cool -Brian

Hey mate hows it going. I am in sitting and waiting for some time stage to convert my car to a turbo as I have the parts. You can get heaps of gear off teh for sale section, get delivered COD you wont have any probs with guys on here they aren't gonna screw you around. You might have to be prepared to pay to get some of the gear though as it is slowly becoming harder to come by, your best bet is to get from over east, coz it is well hard to get the gear over here.

Thanks fellas Yeah I would buy parts from over east but im not sure if id get ripped or not, like the parts may be worn heaps, broken etc that may be why they are selling? I like the idea of buying the whole engine and then work from there. Id just get one from a wreckers or the qoukka etc right? Anyway thanks again guys Ill see what i can find Brian

If ur lucky u could get an almost complete car from a wrecker, That way u can get things like the diff, g/box and RW disc brakes. Then u could sell what evers left back to the wrecker u bought it off. All depends on how much money u got.

OK I called up about the RB20DET. This is complete, runs fine and comes with a turbo and a few other parts. But the only thing is its obviously a 2 litre and was wondering how these go? Im kinda down grading a bit arent I? Brian....

well the vg30 is out of a 300zx and i think yourl have some fun trying to mount it into your engine bay (not too sure), alot of people have put rb20s in there vls(there were some manufactored in new zealand from factory) , ive seen em keep up with 3L (they can rev heaps harder) if the rb20 is in good nic and is 700 i think youd better better off bying that personally (just rememeber you have to get the computer to run it), and need knoledge of the wiring diagrams to wire them up, but im sure someone on the forum would be able to help you out i also think people on this sight would know more knowlegde on the rb20 tham the vg30

rb30et all the way! just look out for a full rb30et and save up while your waiting, although rb20s sound heaps harder

brain that rb20 ur talk about, is it NICS? if it is id pass on it. if you can find a rb20 ECC well then there alot beta. im sure we would all agree, if you could, find a car thats already got wot you want, ull save HEAPS. Ive spent bulk over the last 2 years, and spent another 4k on the car this last week!!!!!!! there all good engines, rb20s will pull like a train with right mods, same with rb30! but if ur thinkin of wanting more than 340 horses @ wheels than rb30, 25 or even 26 is tha way to go! hope that helps! hurtinit
