to do it right you will need to following...
springs such as superlows etc.
shocks to suit the lower shocks in the ass
anjustable panhard rod
and adjustable strut tops or a adjustable strut just depends on how much you want to spend..
i am unsure how much springs etc maybe around $150 a pair unsure, lowered shocks will cost you around $100.. maybe less maybe more depends on places.
pandhard rod like $150
as for the strut tops or adjustable struts depends on brands etc kmac is very good but do cost alot...
ANDOS06: it depends on the brand and where abouts you get them from...
some start at around the $160 mark and then they go up and up....
ITSGMH: did you have adjustable strut tops or the whole strut?? also how much did the pedders ones cost you??
what size springs should i got for lows, super lows, ultra lows.
I am on a tight budget for now so could i just put the springs in and no shockers. And i have heard u only need the back shockers.
QUIKVL thanx
get the ultra lows you'll never look back .
you may need to roll your guards or it will scrape, you can do this yourself pretty easily. You will definitely need an adjustable panhard rod. It is safer to get shortened shocks and struts so theres less room for the spring to travel (it is possible for them to fall out - Not Good) and they will also make the car handle alot stiffer.
I got set of 4 ultralows for $260 but you might be able to get them cheaper somewhere. I also paid $160 for shortened Monroe front struts.
I have Pedders comfort gas shocks in the rear but they were in before I bought the car.
So all up lowering your car is a pretty expensive thing to do but if you do most of it yourself you can save alot on labour.

I agree with DEVL25,
if you attempt do do it yourself it makes it a lot easier if you have some extra hands to help out Comes in handy when doing the struts.
