Hey guys, someone just had a go at stealing my vl :/ the alarm went into warning mode (beeps) and then went off and I looked out the window, couldn't see much. As I got dressed quickly I heard a car door slam and a v8 (by the sound of it drive off). No damage or anything, but not very happy. :/ Follows the successful theft and recovery of another guy's vl in lutwyche on last sunday. Ask 251NFL for info about that. So yeah, make sure your cars are secure. The ****ers deserve a good flogging. Cheers

alarm diagnostics says that they were attempting to open the doors.

Kinda worried that they are gonna come back and damage my car because they failed to steal it though. Sucks that I have to park it on the road.

but also sorry to hear man. i never like reading stuff like this about other peoples cars especially vls. i reckon if they come back which they most definately will, stay up one night and wait. walk out catch them in the act and give them a mouth full, if they nark up belt 'em one and call the cops.

Yeah... I'm parking my car under a street light now... and I can see it more easily from my bedroom. Glad I spent the bucks on the alarm now though. Seeing as the steering wheel lock wasn't much of a deterrent.

Haha Some bogans in an XF were trying to reef the tools out of the back of my dad's ute once. He heard them and ran out, and he's a pretty stocky bloke, totally naked with a baseball bat, swearing obscenely. My mum, who was watching from the window reckons she's never seen anyone run as fast as the derros retreating to their car I dread to think what'd have happened if he caught them Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

If i was you, Id get a massive spot light over your car and leave it on over night then wait by the window with a shot gun.
