Hey just wondering if any one has heard of the myth about Fishermans friend lozenges. Is it true that they give reall good results when you get bagged? Like 0.0 blood alcohol level if you down a whole heap of them after some brews.
Had any one had any experiences with them
Any other tips when you see that trusty blue and red lights down the road, besides, jump the median strip and head the other way lol.

Agree with the drink driving comment stupid but occasionally if I am dessy I will have a 1 or 2 beers early if I am staying there for a few hours but a couple of weekends a go did this, had 2 beers and about 1/2 of an hour later I HAD to go to an emergency and not with the 0 BAC I would of just blown over

2 beers proberly wont make you "blow over" the limit but I suppose that it depends on your tolerence and body size etc... I hope that the fishermans friend thing is true though.

you life is worth more than anything. and most of us live for our cars so to not beable to drive your car cause of haven a drink n thinkin a throat lollie will save you think again!

good news is you live cause ur drunk n your body is relaxed

22-06-04, 00:35 GMT+10#12 That's rubbish about the fisherman's friend. The alcohol you drink is distributed to all tissues in your body, which is why they can test you by blowing into a breathalyser rather than taking a blood test. Sucking a lolly won't do sh!t to lower your BAC.

22-06-04, 03:20 GMT+10#14 I've heard that vinegar works as well, my high school science teacher told me that. I've also heard ice works.. have no idea if they work though, surely someones mates with a cop? Not that I support drink driving at all, but it would be reassurance when ur right on the limit. By the way did u know some states in the US have a 0.08 limit, bloody crazy Americans..

22-06-04, 12:17 GMT+10#18 The only way you'd be able to test this is with an accurate breathalyser, and I don't trust those dodgy DSE ones at all.
I can see how these kinda things might help, but I'm a bit skeptical.
