ok i have just spoken to the mechanic that is workin on both mine and aarons cars and there is a possibility taht mine could be rite to go for friday but that still leaves me with an unregistered car...do i need to get another safety certificate now thats its been unregistered for a week>

no u dont u have 1 month before a safety cert is required , if ur car has run outta rego and is being re-reg'd i think so anyway - thats what the suspicious lad told me a while ago.

I had a car run out of rego (That I burnt ) and DOT were sending me letters asking me to just pay the rego. The last letter I got saying to pay it was about 3 months after it ran out. Of course it would be back-dated to when it ran out, but no RWC needed. Could be different now. Definitely DO NOT need a RWC after one week but.
