Show: VH SL/E full leather retrim in dark grey's and purple a/m steering wheel new black carpet limo tint windows VS calais rear seats VS SS front seats VK Digital Dash Dark Purple paint job with extra purple pearl. Shaved door locks and boot lock Remote start and central locking, turbo timer Dumped with either Kings super lows, or more preferably ultra lows on some Simmons FR18's or dragways of some sort. MORE preferably dumped with airbags. Go: Injected 308 bored & stroked (probably 355 or 383) twin T3s (off Z32 300ZX), possibly hi-flo'd A/M heads bigger injectors, fuel pump, etc nice intercooler slightly more aggressive cam (still keep the low down, but let her breathe a bit more upstairs) extractors twin 3" exhaust LSD (Probably have to opt Ford 9") Some sort of brake upgrade (I dont know what's available for the VH) (alternatively you could go a VH45DE, which would be my choice) ICE: 2 x 12" Subs in the boot 6" in the parcel shelf Splits in the front doors 4" in the vent-speaker spots MP3/CD head unit LCD Screen w/ TV/DVD capabilities... That's what I'd do anyway.

Oh, and you'd probably want a budget of a bit more than $50,000 for that. For $5k: VH SL/E 253, no mods. twin 2.5" exhaust. tint. Home respray job. dumped with "Oxytorch" brand springs on steelies. Aforementioned stereo (minus LCD screen/dvd/tv) using second hand stuff. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

nah, get a HB torana. The original and the best. Stick a standard 350 chev and auto in (with a bit of firewall modifications) and it would be a cheap goer

Even though i drive a commodore, i reckon you should go for the LJ. Commodores are everywhere, nothin beats the looks you get in an old skool car like an LJ. Il be selling my VL soon and goin back to old skool. Nothing beats the looks, and the feel of one, they stand out alot more and have that more of an individual look than your run-of-the-mill commodore. For $5K you will be able to get a decent LJ with a 6 in it This is why LJ's will always look so much tougher than a commodore Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The average LJ does not (IMO) look any tougher than a VH (probably the toughest looking commodore ever). The VH was the last of the true aussie muscle cars (VK onwards lost the chrome and the heart ) and the only reason that LJ looks so mental is cause its supercharged AND twin turbo'd, ofcourse it'd look tough. Compare it to Eddie Tassone's VH though and I reckon Eddie's comes out on top. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

But when you put an LJ with a 350 in it, next to a VH, the LJ will look tougher, the VH will always be looked at as another run-of-the-mill commodore. A good way too see the difference is the money they both pull. Commodores dont hold their value at all, coz everyone owns one, LJ's hold their value very well because they are more sought after. Thats why i chose the LJ, coz they are alot rarer to see on the street than a commodore. Thats why im thinking of selling my commodore, id rather have something different, something that not everyone owns Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
