Hey guys how is this just got a ticket for too powerful how gay is that i was 4 kw over car had 129 kw was driving a soarer twin turbo... anything i can do or just pay fine

anyone got any info on this kinda stuff can they just do that knowing the power and weight of car ... is it worthless trying to fight i think it is but you never know

if its a factory standard car then they cant do much fight it but isnt it an import so it will be hard thought its regestered... huh gets ya thinking.... anyway try redbook in google search hey have all the stuff you need... i dont know bout technical though.

I would guess your soarer weighs more then a ton. If this is still the case you should be able to get out of it. Go to vicroads website look under power/driver restrictions

After 1990 twin turbos were 205kw at the fly Before 1990 twin turbos were 154kw at the fly Do you know where they get their info from? Jap cars might have a higher power rating because of the higher octane in the fuel...can you contest the figures by claiming you use regular unleaded and your car is tuned for regular unleaded? Different fuel should at least give ya 4kw less

well it came to 128.75 kilowatts at rear treads according to the police officer its only 105 dollars dont think its worth fighting ... plus i have had a ticket for failing to have full contorl of vehical as i was caught drifting so they woudl probz say well you shouldn't be driving a high powered vehicle so yeh dont think its worth it... does it make a difference if my dad was in the car or not is it just same ****

well the fact you were drifting is probably what killed ya...... they were probably looking for anything to ping on ya on your p's in vic, the limit is 125kw/per tonne... the car isn't defected, the person driving just gets a fine...

Well i wasn't drifting when driving dads car i had done nothing wrong.... it was a different occasion driving my vl i got caught drifting ... i was just saying that if i tried to appeal they would bring up the fact that i have been caught drifting before and should't drive a high powered vehicle just making that straight lataz guys thanx for the replies
