hey, im lokking a little too far in the future but for very cheap i could get my hands on an '80 carolla sedan for cheap and i was thinking about getting it in the future and dumping something big in the future.
does anyone know if someone has managed to fit an ls1 into an old carolla? im not sure if it will fit but the car has a forweards engine with plenty of room and i think it might just fit.
please only answer iif you are perfectly sure as i dont wanna forget about it or get my hopes on over an assumption.
also, does anyone know measurments i can use to check if it will fit.
if not wot else would be good to fit in there, i'de rather an 8 that i can get heaps of horsies out of (or donkeys, lol)
for a big engine bay ya cant go past a gemini those things have big engine room for such a snamm car.... i have seen a guy plant a vn v8 into it but couldnt get it on the road registered coz power to wieght and crap like that.
there was a green/gold?? gemmini a while back with a 350 sml block in it go to google or yahoo try search for 350 gemini??? might find it i no he had a web site bout 3 yrs ago....

Troy , It was a corolla with a chev, and is now running a 20b or 13b turbo.It runs at willowbank a lot. I've never actually seen the car make a decent run yet. It runs in the Mazfix team.

wow, wel yeh a 350 chev would do gr8, only thoughts for the future, but i'de do sumtin like that 4 sure, and woteva engine i fix up it'll definitely b in the 80 carolla sedan i got lined up.
im not worried about roadworthy cos it'll b strictly for the dragz, i doubt i'de eva really take it on da road much, also considering i'de hav 2 tub it 2 get sum decent size wheelz on it, right now the car has 145's (i've seen wheelbarrows with wider tyres than that, lol)
