...and they'll probably still crack the paint on your arches. Especially if it's original paint.

no doubt. got the guards rolled on the swift after the quarter panels were resprayed from an accident and it still cracked. why didnt they roll the guards before they painted? coz they are retards and it cost them a chewed tyre Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Cheers guys, but now having second thoughts after hearing all this paint cracking talk, is it possible to get vx clubsport or vt gts wheels (identicly realy) in 225`s by 17`s? cause this would hopefully stop the guard scrapping.

It all depends on the offset of the rims.... I have VS GTS 17's with 235.45 rubber.... THe drivers side used to always scrape, so I got my panelbeater to shave as much off as he could without removing the weld... It still scraped, but not as much... he told me to get a parnhard rod, so I did... now both sides scrape, but no where near as bad or much as before... He told me not to roll the guards, as that weld basically strengthens the back end, and if someone ran into the back it could make it worse, and he has seen cases where insurance companies have said, thats modified and caused it to do more damage, so we aren't paying for it.... Food for thought anyway...
