first of all i never bitched about the crack down and i understand the cops completely on it, i asked for peoples opinion. Personally i think it was well over due that they had something so co-ordinated. it took em long enough i basically think 90% of people who looked at this thread didn't even read it properly

I replied to your "original" post (b4 it was edited), the original post didn't make sense and there didn't really seem to be a point to it. Now that you've clarified yourself a bit better maybe you'll get some more intelligent replies!!! there are many hot spots for illegal drag racing, where were they cracking down on the Thursday night?

yerp they sure did get raided, chanel 7 news, epa, bout 30 cop cars, ses, a helicopter, and nothing came up on the scanners. so yer u could say it got raided. nobody got out at all. and to whoever said there is peices of **** at the drags? u obviously havnt been then!! and dont make this into abitch fight i am just stating a point.

Agree with Rolk. Sick of the little P Plate wankers around my town bitchin' about cops and how they don't do anything to deserve the attention they get: just look at all the rubber on the ground in the port mac marina carpak, that and the fuggen huge piles of maccas they leave everywhere which then blows into the river... Do it legal, you'll find that the cops (specially in VIC with operation bluey or whatever it is) will support ya! :-)

jpc jet thats the best response to this thread i've read so far i know these types of drags are illegal and im not bitching. All i want is some points of view on the night if u were there. i saw a rx4 rotor get towed, a vk also got some pretty harsh fines, also a statesman had its leads taken, and i think it would be safe to say that there were at least 20 cop cars and far more police.

yer i was there but was not parked in the street, i heard the dude with that blue rx rotary got a 2 year licence suspension, canary, epa, and a fine. i walked straight past all the cops epa etc. they said if any cars were parked in the street that night that they would be towed away. so yeh dunno whats gonna happen with them anymore. it was pretty big raid.
