The Calais from Steve Orders has been sold. That white berlina in Mobray Ed mentioned isn't a bad car. Has a LSD, 3" exhaust and calais front and back as well as interior options. A mate in hobart has a Calais turbo for sale atm but it is a manual. It has a factory sunroof and leather interior. Its listed under Adam in the feature cars on this site. There has been a couple in the tradingpost lately but I cant think of any other good ones for sale atm.

I had a look on the Tassiecruise club site and saw a red calais owned by a guy called mitchell. Does anybody know anything about this car? Would he be interested in selling it? My guess is No!! but you never know.

Yeah that all red VLCT is my brothers car. It was advertised on here late last year before bought it. Adam's in Hobart would be worth checking out. It would be a good starting point as it has a few mods already. I reacon you'd get it for a reasonable price too now. PM me if yoou want to know anymore. There has also been a 5 spped calais with a rebuilt engine advertised up in the examiner for $8500 I think. I'm not real sure whether I know the car or not though. Hey Ed whats wrong with Tassie people being on here??

Thanx for your suggestions fellas, I am currently in negotiation with a fella in Melb and should have it by the w/end. Because im buying a car from a different state knowone down here will know any thing about it and wont be able to bag it out(if you know what i mean) but anyway I will give it a run at tarmak next season(if i can get outta work) to see what will happen when a set of slicks are bolted on to it! lol

If you end up getting the one from Melbourne you'll have to bring it up the the winter street meet at Tarmak on the 19th June. I'll be there trying to get traction on a nicely unprepared track.

It has 18's on it now and guages on the bonnet. Its going in for a cooler this week. I have the white/silver VLCT with 18" chromes and PSI086 plates. Theres a couple of pics of it in the general VLT discussion thread where everyone has posted pics of their cars. What do you drive? SLYPSI what did you end up buying?

I bought the red berlina(sleeper) from this forum. It goes well and is a good platform for future mods. It's tidy inside and out but I think the paint needs a good cut and polish to remove some slight scratches and maybe a respray if they wont come out. But hey im not fussy. First mods: After market ecu and some bigger injectors! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
