Hi All, I was just wondering if I could ask your advice... Back in January I had my 5L VK Calais stolen (see photo below) and burnt out. The guy stole the mags, Group 3 body kit, stereo, carby and intake manifold. Last Friday morning I found out who it was and the police are finding it difficult to legally prove anything. The mags were 18" ROH fury's with "TODA" centre caps (not shown in photo), the stereo was all pioneer gear and there were heaps of CD's. I was on my way to work and saw the guy's car who my ex-girlfriend is now with. He's suddenly ended up with mags the same as mine, stereo the same as mine and CD's with my writing through out his car. The police have said that they understand what I'm saying but legally, it's hard to prove. He could claim to have bought the mags and stereo gear anywhere and as for the cd's, my ex could say that I never came to get them after we split. Can anyone suggest how to bring justice to this guy? Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated! then shouldn't he be done for receiving stolen goods? if you can't prove he stole them, then they should be able to get him for having them on him... worst comes to worse they can confiscate all the stuff, and you apply to get them back... Speak to a lawyer... goodluck

The main problem is that anyone can claim to buy ROH Fury mags anywhere. As for the stereo stuff, he "could" have been bought it at any Autobarn, Brisbane Car Sound, etc. As for the cd's they reckon that it could be claimed that I never picked them up after my ex and I split. It's like the police are just looking at this and putting it in the too hard basket!

By any chance did the stereo equipment have serial numbers on them? When i had all my stereo equipment installed in my car, the place wrote up an form with all the details on (heedunit and amps both had serial numbers) for insurance purposes. Might be a go if you have something like that..

Ollie, I know what you're getting at and I can appreciate what you're saying. You also understand that this is by far worse than anything I've ever done or contemplated doing. I'm no angel I know, but thieving, and criminal damage is something that I'd not have a part of... sigmund, I could talk to my ex, but all that would do is cause the goods to vanish and I'd definitely never see the stuff again. No, I don't have serial numbers either... there are all sorts of after thoughts that if done earlier, could make life easier hey?

and also, my ex was previously a member on here (Just1_VL)... doesn't look as though she's been on for a while though

how do you know he has your cd's??? I think you need to be questioning your ex too, cause it sounds like that biatch might have been in on it, he steals your stuff then she goes out with him. get a chick to bash her and go find yourself a pole and get him. then steal your **** back and you'll actually have receipts for it all, so it doesnt matter

Yhe id like to know how you know the cds he has have your handwriting on them? You have been doing some investigating haven't you. Is the guy bigger than you. My idea for you is... Buy yourself the following. 1. brass knuckles for your punching hand. 2. mag lite big mother torch to a) look into his car to confirm your theorys, b) to use a a nice weapon of face bashing. (also will help you smash his window) 3. a tow rope to tow his car away (smash the window open to put in neutral) then roll away. and as somone else said...find a chick to bash your ex g/f. Girl and car, imagine if she took sport away from you, you life would be finished...

If the cops cant do anything I would be taking the law into my own hands. Like McVLT said, if u can't have it, no one should have it.

accuse him face to face and see what he does, if he denies it get a bunch of goons with ya to make him pay dearly.
