At the moment I have a VL SL wagon with LSD diff and drum brakes. (weird) I am going to build a turbo engine soon so VT front brakes are going on but i am unsure as to what to do with the rear. obvioulsy i have to upgrade to discs. I have a few questions for anybody who knows. would the centre in there at the moment be strong enough to handle 200kw+? I know that i cant bolt up discs to that diff so i will need to find a turbo diff. Can you put a sedan diff into a wagon? I dont know how many splines the current axles are but i am pretty sure they are the non turbo splines (28?) because i had to replace an axle and put a normal axle in and it fitted.

Wagon diff housings are different to sedans. The shock mounts are different. A wreckers here had a complete wagon turbo non lsd for $400. Just get a whole diff, handbrake and 1" master cylinder. It's a hell of a lot easier.
