This is my 1970 Ford Capri V8 GT, I bought it mostly done but it still needs alot of work before I'm happy with it. It's always easier and works out cheaper to buy a car with most of the work already done, this car is already fully engineered but needs minor touch ups. It is Vermillion fire in colour, runs a mild 302 Windsor the usual stuff forged pistons, roller rockers so on and backed by a 3,000 hi-stall and C10 full manual auto then joined by a 9-inch 4.3 ratio with 31 spline axels. It's a bit of an animal to drive on the streets so I'm detuneing it to run on street fuel and tameing the looks down by removeing the bonnet replaceing it with another with out a hole and bonnet scoop and relocateing the autometer gauges inside the car, and trying to keep the thing quiet. I really don't need unwanted attention. The back section on the bonnet and scuttle panel were done by me as a accident I forgot to put the bonnet pins in took it for a drive 60 k/ph later one bonnet smacked straight back creating a bit of damage, not too worry I'II paint it one day when I get more free time. I have'nt raced it yet but the previous owner claimed it ran a high 11, but I'm thinking more of a 12, not that I care I bought it because I love the shape of the car and have always wanted a capri. Parts are really scarce for these things so if your after one make sure it's in good condition otherwise tracking parts can take a while. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah and it's allso "Cop Bait" I'm not driving it on the streets until it's fully 100% RWC so the cops can leave me alone. Pre ADR car with engineers report and a 100% legit RWC means that they can't do much. That scoop is going as are the gauges, looks tough but really ain't needed on a street car destined for alot of street use.

Your Capri is awesome! Makes me miss mine, even though it was a pussbox. V8 Capri, I'll always want one.

Thanks guys, I took it out for a spin in the backblocks over the weekend, As much as I love the turbo power you can't beat coming from a stand still and nailing it with no brake, the torque of the V8 combined with stupid 4.3 ratio diff gears just smokes tyres like a mother ****er, And you should hear the noise enough to hear me coming from 2 blocks away. The ultimate would be a street legal twin turbo V8 in the light capri body shell. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
