Ok ive got 2 Pioneer TS-W1201C subs in a custom pioneer box, but it looks crap and just bounces around in my boot, my plan is to make up a custom boot for all my audio gear as the way it is things are ony going to get dammaged, can anyone post me some pics of how to mount 2 - 12" subs in the boot of a VL, just need a few pics to give me a few idea's
Also what do you think of the TS-W1201C subs??

Never heard those subs before but..
Alot of places just mount the sub box so they are firing backwards closest to you back seats with an L shape bracket to hold it inplace (mounted to the top and each side of the sub box)
Heres a pic of how mine is at the moment (my amps are behind it for security purposes)
I'm told that this setup is good for producing better bass, but thats what im just told. I like it, and its staying this like when i rebuild my boot in a month or so..
I have heard of those subs...... How do they sound? I know they have a massive power output from memory If Im right they are the 2000W subs. What amps are you using to run them because those suckers would need a lot of juice to run
nah the bottom of the box goes straight, then curves around to meet the top, kinda like a half oval kinda shape.. And theres about 10cms or so between the back of the box and the backseats (its where it was mounted, moving it further back when i rebuild boot)
yeh if the subs are facing the back its better dude. its because the bass vibrates through the chassis and the bass is heard and felt better in the ****pit
LOL GZZ-VLT!!
The reason subs are "louder" when they are rear-loaded is because the lenght of the sound wave is increased, hence making it sound louder.
memnoch - yeah they are rated at 1000watts each, im using a Clarion/ Vnet 4150 - 600wrms amplifier but i really need to get them mounted properly and make a custom boot
