Hi I have a 3L 5 speed VL and its done 209,000kms now and 2nd and 3rd gear seem to have a grounch/grind "sometimes" especially when i go over 4500rpm and it only when its warm but other times it doesnt do it? im am confused as to what it might be as im only 16 and from New Zealand lol.

Don't know if this will help, my old box did the same thing, but it was worse when it was cold. The syncros were rooted and also the input shaft was stuffed.
