is that just with exhaust, extractors, cold air, xf tb, ported plenum? if so that is awesome, seeing as turbos are 150 fwkw from factory. what tuning did they do?

dude i think its time somebody wrote up a tech article on how to perform this mod, with pictures? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

sounds pretty high! I wouldn't have thought the throttle body would make that much of a difference, most n/a's i've seen with similar mods make ~ 100rwkw. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

that's bloody good, I remember my old VLT on 10psi with a 2 1/2 cat back exhaust made 180 rwhp. ran a 14.2 like that. that'll be a quick N/A!! Well done Joel.

did they just advance by one tooth for the cam timing? i have done that and it feels like i lose a bit at high revs now. what rpm did peak power occur at?

mate were not having a go at you, just think about it your saying you have 955.85 Nm of torque from a few mods the stock n/a 6 produces 247 Nm of torque, i believe with the mods you have you should have around the 290-310 Nm of torque not " 955.85 Nm "

87 devl the 955.85nm of torque is at the wheels. remember the diff and gear ratios 'multiply' the torque rating.

true but, i think that someone starting with r ending in liffedyno may have altered the sheet so as to make all their hard work (pfft) in tuning and advancing the timing look alot better than it is if you get my drifting technique *wink wink* i personally and impersonally no of this someones idea of work. By the way i know this guy had a stock rex running a 80 shot of zex ^^. ps. my car had a broken cas, i went to a workshop (no names) told me my head was lifting off after extended driving... then charged me for dyno time without fixing it.. cough cough

ugh.....no. the engine obviously spins a *few* rpm higher than the rear wheels.

Either you are wrong Joel or the general consensus on the stock-> slightly modded output of VL na's is way off the mark. I can maybe after a few vodkas believe your horsepower figure but the torque figure....you may as well tell me it has a million lbs/ft I did all of the mods you have listed.....it might have had 185hp at the flywheel if it was lucky and an improved torque curve but certainly not a massive increase in peak torque. The mods you have listed will improve peak horsepower much more noticeably than peak torque. Also I'm not a physics proffessor but every mod you have done (ignore advanced timing everybody can do that) is basically a breathing mod. And breathing mods do not significantly alter peak torque. To raise peak torque that significantly you need to (a.) raise compression (b.) Increase capacity (stroke the motor) (c.) Forced induction. You have done (d.) none of the above buddy......
