Ey fellas, Do you know much about the Cyclops, Vision and Cobra etc. alarm systems? I can get a really good deal atm on a Vision alarm with the shock sensors n all that crap, but i wanna make sure that it will work well compared to the other brands out there. Your help will be much appreciated by me and my car Cheers, Alex. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Ive got the cyclops installed and its not all that. It hasnt got any sensors so the only way it will go off is if you open any of the doors. Im spewing that i didnt get something with sensors. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Old Vision alarms are totally crap. The qualtiy of the alarm install is what gets theives detered. If you bought a 2k alarm system and it was wired up by an amature, then expect it to be crap and bypassed in a flash. All Black wiring isnt exactly fool proof, a person with 10 mins and a razor could splice all the loom up and follow the wires to their location. You can cancel out about 10 wires or so straight away for the sensors, central locking and alarm, leaving power and immobolisers to play with. At the end of the day it depends on how determined the theif is to get into your car. Quicktrack with remote immobolization is the best way to go if you can afford it. If your car owes you more than 15-20k, its a reasonable investment and no doubt you should be able to save on insurance costs. If you dont have insurance, you should have quicktrack for thefts at least.

all alarms are the same, ie they are just remote controlled kill switches. it is not how good the alarm is but rather how well it is put in
