im goin to upgrade my fuel pump as the N/A pump is not going to be up to the task when i start doing mods to my rb20det engine 1. whats a good upgrade pump that will he able to handle around 250rwkw? 2. is there any bosh pumps on the market that fit the VL fuel pump fittings 3. can i just get away with upgrading the external pump?

any of the bosch pumps are good. u can get a motorsport 500hp one for about $300 i think(dont quote me though).and yes these fit straight in. although u will need a banjo fitting.but nothing major. any yes u dont have to change the internal pump, although it is recommended as if it does stop it will ruin the new external pump.(remember they are getting pretty old now...17 years or so.) some people do say u should use a surge pot, but others dont.ive seen plenty without the surge pot(including myself.). hope this helps.
