Just after expressions from people in the ACT region who may be interested in forming a commodore club down here. Canberra is pretty boring as we all know and we dont seem to get together to much.
There is a bloody lot of commodores down here and i think the development of such a club would be good to get to know everyone.
This is just an idea at this stage so if you wanna support it let me know and who knows maybe we can push further to get our drag strip thats been promised for the last 4 years.
Everyone who comes along would have an input and as we seen some cops are half decent with our first commodore get together a few months back. So hopefully we dont have to worry bout them.

I'm interested, What other things did you have in mind ? What type of membership were you looking at, all Commodores, VL's or Just Turbo's..
As for events and the like, a couple of guys I know go to Wakefield every few months or so for a few laps , and I went to the WRX Drive day at the Majura Skid pan a while ago, I've Never seen such abuse of new cars in my life...a couple even went off the end of the skid pan hehehe

sounds like a good idea , hopefully there would be a few of us, could go for long cruises like down to the moruya nats and other events like that, will be good though, ill keep my ears to the ground and see what you guys say in the future

yeah i cant be bothered pulling the finger out just now, but might be interested to get it all running before summer comes back.... cause canberras just too damn cold

Just got another one! Yeah, I'm interested. Would like the odd track day at Wakefield, plus skid-pan etc.
yeah i'm keen fellas.... gives me something to do in canberra during the night... its tooo quiet round here. A few LOUD VL's would liven things up a bit i reckon.

Meet up of commodore owners fri4/6 at doghouse. 8pm at doghouse then onto Belconnen Maccas/bowlo carpark at 9.30pm, earlier if braddon is too busy. 15+ already interested. Any changes or early departure from doghouse will be posted to old bottleshop door at doghouse site. Race5l.
am keen for a club. i don't own much special(yet) but hey its a commodore. i live for cars and love my holdens and will push to get a club off the ground if the oppurtunity arrises

i should have checked back earlier, i would have gone with yas. how was it anyway???
lets get together some time soon ie this or lext weekend just to meet ever1 and compare cars for those of us who are newer to the commodore scene in canberra and don't know many people. plus i have mates interested in a club
you guys wanna do it tomorrow night the 11th??? I might be able to get some people that might be interested. we'r all southside though so where would you guys wanna meet?? woden,tuggers,civic,manuka. name a spot and ill probably be there, hopefully with a few other commies
atm ive only got my run around vl, the 5L is in getting built. i have a couple of other mates though who seem keen that i can grab a ride with. just gotta find a meeting place
