Could anyone help with this question? A mate of mine has a manual vl turbo too and was just looking at his gearbox because its been playing up. He noticed that one of the two braces at the front of his box that holds it to the motor was almost falling off! He just had new bearings put in his box so it was recently taken out of the car. This couldn't have just come loose could it? It obviously wasnt tightened properly? And is this brace that important? Could it stuff up the box because he has quite a bit of power? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
