hey guys just thought i would tell you's what ive done to slow them down alittle ive been luck that my VL has not been broken into but all my other cars had been many times this is the most easyiest and quickest way that these fucken theives brake into our VL'S is threw the back quarter Glass? Yes. ok this is what ive done well i taken off the back door locks so that way when they stick there hand in they got nothin too unlock and i covered it up with a piece of shinny aluminium looks good too but this just a small delay for these theives but any delay is a good one. hope this helps all you guys out there Michael

good idea but what of they get angryt and then smash ur front window, in my opinum make it easy for em... for instance my mates got robbed and the whole dash pulled apart to get just a cd player, my cd player was in with double sided sticky tape, they took what they wanted and did no other damage, yes it sucks but the little window was broken $40 and no other damage... If u make it to hard for them they will *** ur car up hard! Just make it hard to drive away, hence i have 2 ponit immobilser, alarm, 3 kill switchs and steering lock but just let then take what ever they want from in ya car cuz regardles they will take it!

Good in theory. Why don't you just leave your doors unlocked so they don't break the window? Or Leave the keys in the ignition so they don't ram a screwdriver down it?

How do you open the back doors if there is no locks on them? Cause you ahve to leave them locked all the time right? How do you unlock them?

the whole thing doesnt make sense, they'll break your window, then think wtf when they cant find a handle to open it. Then they get angry, smash another window then get in. good in theory, but not worth the hassle, I agree with infinity, just concetrate on the immobilisation etc, but i know why you did this, as any person doesn't want some scumbag getting in to their car, let alone stealing the thing!

good thinking but as has been stated. If they want it, its going to go anyways. But as I saw the other day there was a VL broken into and just had its headunit stolen and probably whatever coinage was in there. But the car was back pretty much the next day with a replaced window less a stereo. Just get ur alarm and immobilisers and hope like **** the theif has NFI.

well i dont know about you guys but if someone broke my window i would probably hear it, i think i will just get an alarm that has an atmosheric pressure thing so when a window is smashed it goes off, and my dad just put some nissan locks on my car, he reckons they are better because they are double sided...meh i will let you know how i get on

Glass break sensors? The ones I have seen are triggered by the sound of glass breaking (although sometimes go off when you tap a metallic object against the window). I think the best idea is to set up kill switches and a decent alarm (+ immobiliser). Locks don't scare thieves off - most the time they ignore the lock and go straight for the window. There are some ****ing scumbags around thesedays - it gets me so angry... Anyone who thinks stealing someone elses property is acceptable doesn't deserve to be alive IMO
