Yea I just bought one too they look mad long as it does the trick. I have never heard a bad thing about them tho and not worried plenty of vlt's have them in sydney just no one i know personally has one. guess we''ll just have to find out.
Oh yea one of my mates bought one not on car yet but he said since he has had his {about 8mths} it has lost alot of shine and developed tiny bits of sorta like surface rust bit it isnt I just dont know how to explan it. So im getting mine crommed you need it all polished up before you get it crommed the dude at micksmetal craft said so the crome sticks to it and doesnt flake off there is a cromming joint just around the corner from micks metalcraft he recommends them cos sum cromming joints are shonks and the crome will flack off.

the reason I ask guys is quite simple, I thought the plenum looked horn so without thinking I bought it. the problem is ive heard stuff all about them & wondered if there is better on the market (not interested in nizpro to many $$$) so speak up guys any thoughts i want to know

22-03-04, 04:22 GMT+10#12 micks m.c plenums were designed by bill perkovski from perkos perf, they charge $1600 for them and they are approx 6/7ltrs in capacity...now if you compared them to the sub zero plenum sub zero will win hands down,i have a custom 10ltr plenum with a 100mm throttle body for my car courtesy of sub zero...they charge approx $1400...if you wanna pay up to 2k for one then go to nizpro...

22-03-04, 11:38 GMT+10#13 all i can say is for the price of a mmc plenum for 1600, id much rather get a nizpro one second hand.

22-03-04, 12:49 GMT+10#14 whats so good about the nizpro plenums? i dont get it!
1.they use the standard runners so i dont see how it could be so much better then other custom jobs that use a short style runner.
2. i dont think they look any better then say a pet, sub-zero or mmc plenum.
3.for $2000 i just cant see the value!

22-03-04, 13:59 GMT+10#15 The R&D that has gone in to it. They have spent many hours flow testing and all that to make sure it is good. 2k is a little to much for me though.
