Just letting southside brissy guys know... 2 of my mates, one in Springwood (my next door neighbour), one in Sunnybank, have both had their cars jacked up and their wheels stolen, one friday night, one saturday night. The one last night they only got the rear wheels. They arent VLs but both had vey nice wheels. Follows up from weekend before last when I had my calais boot strip and one side ripped from my car. Keep ya eyes on ya prize.

The ones pinched from next door were some 17 inch chromes... I hadnt seen any like them before, 6 lots of double spokes, were on a corolla.. The ones from sunnybank were 18s, just a 5 thin spoke design, I think they were copys of something popular.

funny u mention this. went for a drive wit my mate round my area 2 days ago, and to our suprise, there in the middle of the road in full sight to anyone... a vl, jacked up no wheels and burnt completely to a bare shell. This is also a little sus aswell, my bro lost wheel on the highway the other day (back left) when he cheked all his other wheels, nuts were loose on ALL of them, almost like some **** had tried to steal them and been disturbed, leaving the car with loose wheel nuts. not cool, very dangerous and expenise when wheel comes off while ur on a ***in highway. i'll be keepin my eyes peeled.

u only need a socket and a hammer, it's pretty piss easy, last me locknut just stops people looking for a quick stell, have also accidently undone me locknut with the wheel brase (can't spell) so just cause they have lock nuts doesn't mean the are steal proof ! tilt sensors sound good though Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Almost everyone leaves the locknut socket or key in the car anyway! Just like removing the detachable face from your expensive stereo then putting it under the seat or in the glovebox. Thieves can simply look there first and bingo problem solved for them!

I will tell u how it is done. ,ost people buy there lock nuts from Supercheap Auto or autobarn or somthin like that ok now both these shops are easy to steal from so what people do is steal the lock nuts from the shops cause most of the lock nuts that these place sell there is only like 5 dif sets of keys they steal them until they got the whole set of keys and then u can get any off and most of the time they have already seen the car they want the mags off and checked it all out. wen a car gets stolen its more like a well its here now might not be here 2morrow situtation. really i havnet worked out a way 2 keep people from stealing mags but 5 diferent lock nuts on each wheel seems to slow them down abit but isnt cheap. im trying to work out a way where u can actully padlock ur rim on the inside to ur disc but u will have 2 unlock each rim b4 u can drive it and u will have to get a loop welded on the inside of ur rim might set the rim off balance. but i always think 2 myself steal the mags stereo wateva just dont take the car but u still feel empty driving on stockies wen u know u had 18's know what i mean.
