Hi everyone. Tuesday night my VL turbo that I had for 14 years was stolen. I made the bad judgment of parking it in the cinema parking lot at Hurstville, NSW to watch a late night movie. If anyone hears or sees anything, please let me know. The number plate is VLT-03L and i've included some pics. She has a 5 speed manual and has been kept in fairly good looking condition. For all the ultra old school diehards, you might remember this car online years ago as it was featured in one of the first dedicated websites on the VL Turbo back in 1997 that i designed as a hobby. Any help or news will be greatly appreciated, and confidentiality is guaranteed. cheers guys, stealth. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Geez that stealing **** is really starting to piss me off!!!!!!!!. Bloody cops should spend more time looking out for guys like us and more time catching tossers like the people that nicked your car.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. Even though my chances of getting the car back are quite slim, i will still eventually get another VL Calais turbo, because once it's in your blood, it's hard to explain what the attraction is to anyone who hasn't had one. It just is a unique vehicle. I'm sure you guys understand Yes i had it insured, and the polce were notified immediately, but there is only so much they can do whilst they sit there eating donuts during their shifts. It also had an alarm, and a kill switch disabling the fuel pump. It was hidden in the most unbelievable spot, so i have doubts they would have driven the car. I say they might have probably towed the poor thing. Ok guys, i'll let you all know of any outcomes. Keep the vl turbo spirit alive! stealth Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Still no word, so it's just about time to give the word to the insurance to pay up (i would rather get the car back any day, as it was insured for nowhere near what it is worth to me). Over the next few months, i will be on the lookout for another VLT, after all, i will still have a set of number plates that need a home!

Yeah, I also seen this car around, being from the area. If it's the same one im thinking of, it was parked up the back of the railway line between Kingsgrove & Beverly Hills station's pretty regularly.
