just wondering how many litres of oil i need to put in the engine oil part. My mechanic just changed my oil the other week and he charged me for 5 litres of oil?? surely he didnt put that much in. ive checked the dip stick and its level is fine. Any one know?

Five litres is normal.

4.7 Litres 4.3 for the engine + 0.4 for the filter or 4.3 if not changing the filter

i thought it was 4.3 all up. but yea thats about right. why would u get a mechanic to change ur oil??? do it urself for christs sake

hey i can change the oil and i can build a house, but i cant service an injected car, no one has shown me and ive had a datsun the last 4 years which was a little less complex. so when a mwechanic services a car he ussualy changes the oil. (wanna hope so for $99) my last car took bugger all oil thats y i was concerned. Other than that thanx 4 the feedback, i can sleep better at night now Cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

nah, efi is bull****. well its good.. but when trouble finding theres so many things. carbys you just stuff around with the mixture and the timing and hope theres spark and she's all apples. basically anyway.

its like 5 1/4 as long as its inbtween the little curvy markers my mates a mechanic and hes got vl to he says the same

It says in the handbook 5.0 litres including the filter. I put 5 litres in and it fills it up the the max. (with a new filter)
