My mate's younger sister has a complete POS 1986 Commodore, with like 500,000k on the clock, its a V8 but its starting to die. The body was in good nick but the engine was a mess, it was worth about $350. Well the front disk brakes were screwed up so he jacked the car up, took the disks off and sent them to be machined (as a favour to his mechanically illiterate sister). Not wanting to leave the car on the jack over the weekend he put the front wheels on and left it on the front lawn over the weekend.
Well saturday night little Jimmy ****less has seen the car sitting on the front lawn, and in the dark of night the car looks kinda cool. So young Jimmy has broken in and hotwired it, done a nice burnout on the edge of the lawn and down the street. Problem was this street is in the hills (Tea Tree Gully way for SA ppl) and is on a very steep hill, at the bottom is a sharp left turn and a creek just after it. Poor Jimmy has approched the corner at mach 4 speed and suddenly found out the car has no brakes (back brakes are terrible on this thing) and has gone straight into the bank of the creek at considerable speed.
The car is smashed up but Jimmy wasn't wearing a seatbelt so theres a nice dent and bend in the steering wheel that helped stopped Jimmy, 2 teeth were on the floor and some blood on the windscreen (a few drops at least) and his footprints (according to police) went in a very staggered and criss-cross pattern through the reserve.
My mates sister is a little pissed off with whats happened to her car but it was insured and she was kinda glad to get rid of it, police have a suspect as well.
Car thiefs are scum so I found this story so amusing., Happened last weekend btw. Mate said he'd send me a few pics of the car in the creek once developed.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! im still ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The thing i find most funny about this story is that he managed to get the front wheels back on the car with no front disc rotors.

I was gunna say, how does that work? I was looking at my brakes the other day cos the rotors need machined, thinking leaving my car on stands for a day or two would be crap, if this guy has found a way how to get wheels on with nothing to attach them to I'd most like to hear it
