Hey ppl, I will be in the market for some wheels for the car in the not so distant future. I was just wondering what you all think would be the best for a VS Berlina. If you have any pics, feel free to show me. I was thinking about VT Internationals, but they seem kinda expensive... Here is a pic of the car: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Personally, i either go for 10 spoke VS Senators, Silver FR18's wit polished outers, VT GTS (Silver) or if u cash isnt an issue, got the VX GTS 19's.

bobjane are selling amg quakes 17" for around $1500 with tyres for a set of 4, ive seen them on a vr/vs aswell, look good. My mate has a vr with the rt's and his also looks really wicked, so i guess it comes down to personal choice... u can get the quakes in silver or in argon which is a little bit more expensive.. the rot rt's are below let me know wat u choose! Yes, I like those Quakes! I guess i should pop into Bob Jane and have a look around. I didn't know that Bob Jane sold Holden wheels, i guess they would be cheaper there than at a Holden Dealer? I can't afford those 19" ones, I would be leaning towards 17" or maybe 18", just maybe Thanks for the help guys, and yes i will be lowering it first. I'm not sure how all that works and what i should be getting, King Springs super lows? Is that what they are? Keep the ideas coming, thanks

superlows at bobjane are $440. drive past there and have a look at the champange quakes mick got customly painted for the black senator. OR have a look at bearepaires for the VY GTS copies in 17" they look good and are very simlar. they have one on a stand in the window with a holden centre cap in, dont no what there worth. just go around and anoy all the places like i did. i no what wheels i want now but just need money. haha p.s im yet to find a ROH wheel i like, they all suck to me. thats my opinion though. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

So, its around $400 to $500 to lower the thing? How much lower do ppl usually go? IS Bob Jane a good place to do it? I guess my next question is, do I sell the current wheels in order to get the new ones, or do i keep them in the shed until i sell the car so I can put them back on and keep the new rims? The Berlina rims aren't too bad, they have Pirelli P5000's on them, if I sold them I could get new rims heaps quicker...

i reckon gold vx r8 rims would do the job or even vt gts series 2 rims

trade em in. if u go to sell ur car u can easily buy cheap interceptors or what not

Trade the old wheels in? Can you do that at places like Bob Jane? Do they give ya much $$ for them?

second thoughts sell them privately. might get more for them that way, basically a plain holden wheel goes for $100 with tyre i.e statesman, berlina mags. my dad has picked up a few nice sets for those prices anyway. so maybe then again u keep ur old tyres and burn them, in the fun way of course.

I went to Bob Jane today and asked some questions: 18" AMG Quake = $2200 17" AMG Quake = $1700 18" VY SS = $1590 That is off the top of my head, so it may be wrong. $1590 for the VY's sounds ok... I asked about separate prices too: 1 x 18" AMG Quake rim = $299 1 x 17" AMG Quake rim = $240

Nah I wasn't looking for the senator, 19" is too much. Are the VYSS 17's or 18's? I am confused

they come in both and i reckon your quote of $1590 was for 17s as im pretty sure the 18s were $1800 or so.

Yeah, I had a feeling I was mistaken, it seemed a little too good. Well I really dunno what to go for, they are all pretty expensive, and I think I will struggle to sell the current wheels, I made a post about them. The 18's are real nice but I reckon that 17's would look fine, much better than what i have at moment anyway
