Thought i better thow up my bit about my car. I originally bought it cause i was after a R33 skyline and i came across it and it only had 70,000 km on it. I thought i couldn't go wrong but it turns out it can. After blowing a fuel pump, a turbo, a head gasket, a diff, a gear box and about a billion fuses my car is where it is today. It now has a t3/t4 turbo running 7psi, full 3 inch stainless exhaust and a mini spool diff. The auto has also been replaced by a MX7 manual with a 5 puck brass button clutch. Just before the manual conversion took place the car made 185 hp. The car now spends its life sitting in a shed with a cover on it with the intentsions to rebuild the motor and get a new largish turbo. I've got goals of about 400 rwhp which isn't impossible but is still a challenge. A full leather interior is also part of the plan.
I would like to keep it manual but that may mean staying away from the drag strip too so time will tell.
I've also owned and sold about 3 intercoolers and I'm about to go to number 4 but this time with the intentions of fitting it ...
All I'm waiting on now is to buy a good car to use as a daily driver as its not too nice rocking up to places in a faded white VL calais (my work car) and then more attention (read: money) will go back to the VLCT.
enjoy

The R8 rims were only borrowed but I will be buying my own set in the future ..... I thought they suited the car nicley.

nah r8 rims look mad on a super low vl. 87vlt's car needs a shocking lowering job first
Get some pics of iceblu86 of his immaculate vl calais with r8 rims, it looks great!

The car has been sent of to get all the little problems fixed so it should be back to being neat as with in a couple of weeks and the ecu will follow very soon.
