The car is up for sale (Details below) Pics can be seen at : Picture 1 (http://www.insanevl.gil.com.au/ATM06/1.jpg) Picture 2 (http://www.insanevl.gil.com.au/ATM06/2.jpg) Picture 3 (http://www.insanevl.gil.com.au/ATM06/3.jpg) Picture 4 (http://www.insanevl.gil.com.au/ATM06/4.jpg) Picture 5 (http://www.insanevl.gil.com.au/ATM06/5.jpg) Picture 6 (http://www.insanevl.gil.com.au/ATM06/6.jpg) Picture 7 (http://www.insanevl.gil.com.au/ATM06/7.jpg) Picture 8 (http://www.insanevl.gil.com.au/ATM06/8.jpg) Car was originally a S2 Calais Turbo, but now has an N/A engine in it, however, all the mechanicals are still Turbo specifications (Turbo g/box, Turbo Brakes, Turbo Diff, Turbo Master Cylinder, etc...), great to get around as a n/a and then covert into a Turbo later as all the components are there except the motor itself. I'm looking for $7,500 ono as most of the mechanicals have been changed recently (12 months ago) such as the Master Cylinder, All the suspension, Gearbox, Front Brakes, Steering Rack, and a few others. This price in Negotiable - will accept offers ! I'm sure most people know about the cam shaft in the car is quite large, and emits a *very* lumpy exhaust note due to this, and quite honestly, whilst the car does perform better than a standard n/a, it does not perform to its best ability, however, this can be negated by a) chipping the computer, b) replacing the cam, c) changing to a turbo motor as above, or d) putting up with it. Problems with the car are all noted below in the Details. Plenty of detail in this post as the most annoying thing is people only list the "good" points about thier car when selling, and when you check it out - there are mountains of problems wrong with it - I'd rather not waste both yours and my time if your looking for an absolute *PERFECT* vehicle (bearing in mind, this car is 17 years old) The car does come with Rego, and a proper RWC (not a dodgey one as lots of people like to get these days). The "ATM06" plates will not be sold with the car, however, I *may* take some offers seperate, or with, the car. Contact me on [phone removed], or e-mail me at [email removed] if you have any questions or would like to show interest in the car. I remember when I was just 17 which was 2 year ago I raced this car On the Highway when I was in my 5spd EA. This vl has a mean idle and sounds like a v8.

I purchased the car as a rolling shell - just had the engine and gearbox missing - I had intentions of putting a turbo motor in, however finances at the time prevented me and the atmo engine from my last calais was put in instead, and thats the way its stayed - gearbox was then later upgraded to a turbo jatco with a 2500 stall. Plans were to buy a turbo engine and drop it in, but more money than i expected came along and i bought a VLCT outright - and need money from this car to pay for a holiday and buy some new furniture for the house.
