1) i read the thread about using PULP/ optimax and decided i want to give it a shot. do i have to run the tank right down to empty before i put in the PULP? or do i have to completely drain the ULP out? Also, here in WA there is nothing called optimax. theres only PULP. Same thing?
2) from everything i know/ have heard, a better air filter and CAI will make the engine run slightly better and economically. how is this possible? i would have thought more air going in would mean more fuel being injected, and hence chewing more fuel.
on a side note, if you have a motorbike, dont use optimax. its the worst fuel for it. thats not just me but from thousands of other bike riders
cheers
PULP is optimax. just fill up with pulp next time you fill up, you dont need to drain it. It will use less fuel because its running more efficiently, but remember to get the best results you should advance the igniton a bit. running PULP innit while it is tuned for regular wont give you **** all gains.
about the motorbikes, it would depend on what fuel the bike is made to run on. esp if its fuel injected, PULP would be better, again after some retuning.
