I think there should be a for sale section for each state as it makes it really confusing where people are from sometimes, and its just so much easier, sort of like what has been done with the cruises is good.

interesting idea. only thing is that many people are prepared to buy out of state, and therefore if they had to check all of the forums for what they want, it would take ages..

as u said many people will buy out of state, and it does become a pain haveing to search through each state, maybe you could set something up, so people can choose if they wish to browse only a certain state, as i know this is possible.

So let them check... It's very good with the cruises, but hoping the same for the classifieds... Well that's what I think anyways, ususally people like to sell their stuff to people in the same state and none of this shipping costs rubbish See how ya go man, hope you (sin) can come on the VL cruise in Melbourne next weekend. It could be like the trading post site, where you can choose a single state or all states

i rekon it should be left as is. it's not like there are 600 new for sale threads each day that u have to look through.

Trading post looks like a good idea.

If everybody filled in their profile out with location and state accurately, and mentioned in their post that its a specific state sale, or interstate sale with the buyer willing to sell interstate, then i think that the current one is fine. The message board is already cluttered with too many sections and sub sections. Thankfully you can pop them upwards so that you can better organise the way you want the forum to look. If you do go regional specific, there must be a combined view of whats happening across all states. For the record, im against it because it over complicates things further and has no real benefit because people should be mature enough to specifiy where they are from in the posts/profile.
