My VLT auto let go the other day. Cant get 3rd gear. I have a spare VL Auto out of an NA. I only need a "run-around" box for a while, whilst i save up for a new stronger box. Will the NA auto box go straight in to a VLT? or are they to different? Box mounts all the same? Tail shaft the same? I just need something to get me out of trouble for a while. Any help would be great thanks!

tail shaft is different, as are the gearbox mounts. shifter might not fit? not sure about that. if your VLT is pushing more than 180 kw at the flywheel the n/a box will root itself quick smart!

Externally everything will bolt up except one wiring plug-to the Bell housing torque converter solenoid, this can be left hanging Once your car gets into boost then it the trans won't upshift and there is a chance that the pump may fail from overpressurising

i bolted up a N/A gearbox straight up.. infact im on my 2nd box now! making 230kw@engine slips its tits off in overdrive 4th on the highway and takes about half n hour to change between 1st and 2nd lol piece of crap freebies! so yes the N/A box will bolt straight up hope this helps Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
