Just trying to find out when VLs were built, not the official 1986 - 1988 date. I'm trying to find out if any were built and have a plate in them saying 1985. Thanks Paul

I'm looking at building a VL rally car to CAMS PRC specs, If the car is made prior to 1 Jan 1986, there are additional freedoms, eg manifold, intake (but not adding forced induction). It won't be a huge issue, just means that I can't run extractors, amoungst some other things. So if I can find a shell/plate with 1985 on it, I get the freedoms. Paul

If you only wanted the VL appearance for the rally car then i would suggest putting VL panels on a VK Shell. If you wanted the VL shell to run the Nissan motor then it looks like you are stuck with the restrictions imposed by CAMS. Corsa
