This is the old mans car. The car was released from the factory with the holden 215i 350 stroker engine, 6 speed gearbox, Hydratrak diff, cloth interior, power everything, cruise control etc, etc.... The colour is called panther mica and is hardly visible as a green without direct light, it looks black. It was purchased in about August last year from the local trading post for a good price. The previous owner had fitted 17" BBS wheels, Vortech V-2 blower, pacemaker extractors and a full 3" exhaust. The car went well for a little while, before it busted a head gastket and some other niggling little things but nothing too major, untill November last year, the old man was coming home from work one morning when a VR commie was willing to race, as a result of the race, 2 pistons were severly damaged because the previous owner had wound the boost up to 14psi on the stock internals. The car was dropped over to G-Force engines at gateshead for the work to be done. The car is receiving a set of CP forged pistons, A custom Crane "blower" cam, larger valve springs, 36lb injectors, some headwork, new piston rings and a boost guage. The car should be ready by the end of Febuary, estimated power is around 500hp @ the flywheel. Once the car is finished and running right, we will be hitting the track, hoping for and 11 second pass. Future mods include, COME twin throttle body manifold and an intercooler setup. Sorry I havn't got any real good pics of the car at the moment, it's being worked on so I'll have some pics and maybe movies up once the car is finished. -BRAD Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
