Just a suggestion. When posting Pics of your cars, or thinking of a user name, scrub your plates out in Photoshop before you post the image. Don't use your plate as your user name. I say this because I know that a$$holes (particularly in parts of Sydney) who manage to get a hold of Police Radios can do a rego check over the air, then ask for the owner's details, ie. address. Then they know where to knick you beast from. That's how all the WRX's were going. What do you think?

Yeah dude you'd think, but the good crims spend a fair bit of time listening to scanners, they pick it up quick! Some also have dodgy c^@#* friends in the coppers

I know first hand what the illegal police radios are being used for and it isn't stealing cars. Bigger things happening

The coppers talk to Radio in Newcastle or maybe Tammy. Everyday odd shifts get worked where cops make up new callsigns for the purpose of whatever they're doing. For example a pushbike unit may make there callsign for the day, say Liechardt 24. Radio has no way of knowing if it's a true callsign. The cops used to call off at firearms audits, but the crooks were listening to the addresses they were going off at, wallah, they know where to go to steal guns.
