The little *******s broke into my car within the last 24hrs, i haven been near it in that time frame so have no idea when. My car is not meant to be able to be broken into via the door locks, yet they managed to get in. Obviously the door lock is now ****ed, and the handle has a minor scratch on it. My papers were thrown about, my work security card and key were left on the seat, along with a house key left on the seat. My CDs were left, my magazines werent touched, my clothes werent touched, my $1500 stereo wasnt even looked at. What did they take? ****en a handfull of 5c coins, whoop di ****en **** you got about $3 worth of coins and you cost me a new ****en door lock. **** these little *******s around my susburb better watch out, if they ****en go within a couple of feet of my car and i see em, i'll ****en smash the little ****s. NO ****EN HAPPY JAN!

wasn't it your particular model of car south that some years ago on the news they said the door locks were easily busted or u can use a dipstick or something to get in. i take it the car is insured??

car is indeed insured. But no need to pay excess or loose NCB over a $5 part. The XF is the model you can use a dipstick to start, the EF/L is security encoded and can only be opened by the encoded key. BOLLOCKS to that, the ****er go in with a screwdriver. Removing door locks shortly and replacing front handles with the rear handles. I never use the locks anyway, central locking is my friend.

untill your remote battery dies... hook a hidden switch outside you car to unlock it incase you lock your keys in or the bettery dies...
