Well i finally decided to lower my car, if any of you guys remember i posted awhile ago saying that i had a set of king superlows (well thought they where) lying around in the shed somewhere. Anyway on with the long story ;p After seeing how much it would cost just to do the front springs alone ($160 for installation and another $160 to put back if i wasnt happy with the height) i decided to wait till my old man came home from his fly in/out work. So we spent an arvo of trouble shooting and incidents (mag falling on a tool putting a chip in it - not happy) installing the fronts: HPR - 22SL, rears: KHPR - 20 and also the monroe gt shocks that came with it for the rears. The result was this: Being REALLY happy with the look + many others loved it (yes i did forget to take the mud flaps off), it wasnt practical for me. The rear tyres where going to get chopped by the wheel guard very easy/often. Even buying a adjustable panrod and moving the diff to the left alittle still would of made it very close still. ^^ Picture doesnt really do justice, the sides of the tyre is curved so it wider then it is and the other side is even worse. (tyres are 16 inch 225s by the way) So after abit of quick thinking (limited time to change it to something else) we checked out pedders lows (the guys there seemed to think my tyres where a big problem as well), which werent much difference compared to what we had. Then proceeded and brought a set of king lows (since they where ment to be 20mm or so higher then the superlows) Got home got my tools out ready to start, pulled the new king low rears out ready to do the change over, then checked the "superlows" against the king lows - Very little difference. So we ended up taking them back and were told that our rear "superlows" where actually lows (even tho the model number on them where different?) and we managed to get a refund. So we went back home and chucked the old springs back on. Final pic After a few days work, ended up with what i already had, gotta love the parents having "Country Springs" put on because the standards where too low when they owned it.. My point for posting this: I'm boored and i hope i may help some in the future and a few questions: 1. Anyone know what rear king spring is i have is "KHPR - 20" ? 2. Im thinking about King Lows on the front + King Standards on the back next time (a month or so) i got 2 12 inch subs in boot which should take some weight, what do you guys think on this? (alittle higher at back) 3. What do you guys do to protect your mags when you are undoing the wheel? (i put alittle tape on the tool so it doesnt mark, but then just leaves sticky marks on it) Thanks Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

2 things...... 1 - damn that is high 2 - love the mudflaps hehehehe nah , to be honest , with the springs u put in , i cant see too much of a problem with them. front wise u will be fine for sure , rears , with the offset diff , over some bumps u may get scrapage , get a adj panhard , it will cure at least 90% of the rubs , then in a few months time , after saving some cash , take it to get the gaurds rolled , a few places are able to do it paintless rollings , ie without ruining the paintwork. u wont look back.

Super lows all round on my car Rear KHRL - 20HD (Printed on coil) Front KHPR - 19 (Tag stuck to coil) Second that - Damn thats High. With low springs in, doesn't look too low. I think your problems stem from wheel offset dude.

Yeh i know that hight is bad (really sucks), sucks even more after seeing the car with the king lows How much is it to get the guards rolled? And what does the finished touch look like? Also with the lowered height, i have 1 or 2 steep hills around my area, so how do your cars go with them?
