Every time i think i have managed to convince myself that getting an injected 5.0L for my VL, I somehow find myself comng back to this site to find out if there is anything new I change my mind and say "TURBO"...... damn my mind and my car loving ways, Damn them all to hell. Playing need for speed underground doesn't help either....... it needs a vlt though agggghhhhh more turbo

lol... i've been down this path many times.. 5L or turbs.. always go back to turbs...

Stocs101, you have seriously read my mind hey. I went and had a look at a VP V8 Manual yesterday and it went like a rocket but needed some cosmetic work. I was so torn hey, ive been plaing nfsu for that past week and im up to my last tracks and everytime i visit this site which is too often, i always want a vlt. Its pathetic!

V8s dont make annoying noises.. V8s are mad... but so are turbos.. i attempted to buy a calais turbo twice but ended up with other things both times, 1st a VR then a VL calais with inj 5L

I love the sound of a v8 at full noise.....I always rip my head around to see what is making it. Just turbo seems the cheeper option to go for and with much the same results as far as power is concerned

best sounding car i hav EVER driven is my mates Blown AU XR8. the sound of a stroked V8, gilmer belts and the nice sound of air being sucked in at an incredible rate is sooooo sweet...

i've had both, and i can safely say the turbo is better, but has absorbed a lot more money from my wallet than the v8 ever could.

v8s are cheaper performance and can go alot harder than a turbo can

or get a supercharged RB30E.....and earn the hatred of every VLT owner out there.....

you dont need 8 pistons to go fast..6 in enough
